Lanta Sea House

The location was perfect right on the beautiful beach.

I didn’t like the birds in cages. Not having enough quiet time on the grounds due to a lot of children occupying the pool everyday, all day. Luckily the property is right on the beach with excellent swimming right there, so not being able to enjoy the pool wasn’t such a sacrifice.

We loved the location right on the beach Kong Dao.Beautiful pool nice bright room on the 1st floor.Staff were very friendly.Great beachbar called the Majestic great music.The beach is mostly flat and long great for a walk/run.Minimarts and a good choice of restaurants. On and off the beach.We booked for 3 nights ended up staying 7.Very relaxed place no hawkers no beds on the beach no loud music.It might be too quiet for some people we loved it.

We initially stayed on the 1st floor in an A frame room was quite dark.

Best place to stay on Lanta. Good for families.Right on the beach with pool.Attentive and lovely staff.Close to good bars and restaurants.Will definitely be back.Sunsets are amazing!!

Perfect place if you are traveling with kids. Swimming pool and a good safe beach on your doorstep. Staf is also very friendly, dinner is good.Would come back!

The house could use some renovation. It's a bit outdated. But when the weather is this good you're only in your room for shower/sleep.The breakfast gets repetitive after a few days. We went to a nice bakery next to the mosque for breakfast/lunch

The property is located at a nice beach which was not busy. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food at the restaurant was good, but would have preferred a buffet for breakfast. There were other restaurants at the same beach and nearby. This is a great hotel for a peaceful holiday, I enjoyed some quiet time reading and having a drink on the bean bags in the evening whilst enjoying the sea breeze.

The staff, including Bun and William are welcoming, friendly and make the stay very comfortable.

The location and staff were outstanding. Everything for a comfortable and relaxing holiday is just a stroll away.

The a/c over the beds made for a very uncomfortable sleep. The breakfast is very limited so try once and then go elsewhere as infinitely better offerings available on the beach. Our hot water & TV didn’t work so we were moved to another room. Our 2nd room TV was stuck on a live feed of the Vatican for the entire week long stay.It didn’t bother us too much as we have other devices but would be hellish if you actually wanted to watch TV. However we didn’t stay in room much due to the activities nearby.

Excellent on the beach location. Rooms cleaned daily great staff.

Location is perfect, the staff were amazing and very helpful, food is good, soft bed, daily cleaning, very family friendly. The place exceeded our expectations and we want to come again!

The AC is installed right in front of the bed so it’s pretty cold even on a warm setting. But it’s a minor thing and it didn’t affect our stay, which was fantastic!

Keep note this is a family resort. It’s lovely to hear giggles and and happy children but the wall are very thin and we been woken up several times in the night with a baby crying

Great resort, nice bungalows, good restaurant and perfect beach. The upper floor bungalow was spacious, bed was big, there was a small fringe and balcony was really nice. There is also lots of restaurants, massage spas and convenience stores nearby. Great place to have a holiday. Lots of families with kids.

The hotel is in a quiet location right on the beautiful beach. The water is shallow and the tides are not too significant. The pool is well maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and service-oriented and the food and drinks in the restaurant are delicious. All purchases are charged to the room so you don't have to carry cash. The hotel accommodates a lot of families, so the children can be a bit loud at times. But we didn't find that a problem at all.We extended our stay by several days after arriving because we liked it so much.

More places to sit and lie in the shade by the pool and on the beach would be desirable. But we always found a nice spot.

The location is great, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and I had some of the best meals there. They also offer oat milk and a vegan wrap (which was very good!).

Unfortunately, it was extremely noisy all day due to all the babies and toddlers there. At times, there were +10 children in the pool and terrace area crying and screaming, which made it impossible to relax. If you want some peace and quiet, I think this is not the right place, although the location itself would be perfect.

The wifi wasn't great but if you don't plan to work remotely it's fine. They will also update it soon

It was a perfect location. Right on the beach front with lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms were lovely and fresh water given everyday. It was nice to have youre own space in the bungalows and balcony. Great to have a fridge and kettle too. The hotel also did a laundry service which was very helpful.

The AC wasn’t the best and the bathroom didn’t get much air so was very hot. There was a couple stains on the sheets and pillows.

Best coffee, great location, best view, nice pool, kids friendly, nice staff, perfect comfy beds. The atmosphere is fantastic. Staff always friendly and helpful. Saltwater pool: small, but cozy. Relaxing!

shower: all bathroom flooded: no curtain! Restaurant/Bar closes at 8pm, no possibility for us for dinner.

The staff were wonderful, the room was clean and spacious, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the beach was just beautiful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for my children and me.
